Committed to Environmental Conservation and Community Health
Weela Community Based Organisation (Weela CBO) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to advancing sustainable development, environmental conservation, and improved community health. Since its inception, Weela CBO has strived to empower individuals and groups to take active roles in protecting natural resources while fostering healthier living environments. We believe that a healthy environment and a healthy community go hand-in-hand. Our programs combine conservation practices such as tree planting, waste management education, and water resource protection with initiatives focused on public health awareness, disease prevention, and nutrition. Weela CBO works closely with local leaders, schools, and vulnerable groups to promote long-term change, ensuring that knowledge and practices are passed on to future generations. Our vision is to create resilient communities that thrive socially, economically, and ecologically. We take pride in being community-driven, inclusive, and solution-oriented, bridging the gap between environmental stewardship and community wellness.
We organize tree planting campaigns, climate awareness drives, and community clean-ups to protect ecosystems.
We conduct educational programs to empower communities with knowledge on health, sanitation, and sustainability.
We provide expert advice on environmental management and conservation strategies tailored to community needs.
We deliver training sessions that build skills in leadership, sustainable farming, and health education.
