About Us

Weela Group is a Community Based Organization (CBO) registered under the Tanzania government laws of the Non-Governmental Organisation Act No. 24 of 2002, section 4 of Act No. 22(1), and Act No. 23(4). We are officially recognized with registration number REG.NO.HWB/CD/CBO/178, registered on October 13, 2013.

Our CBO aims at serving the community through nature conservation and humanitarian services, striving to create sustainable impacts in environmental protection and social welfare.

Vision

• Reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.
• Protecting and serving natural carbon sinks.
• Providing humanitarian services to the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals.

Mission

To meet the Millennium Development Goals concerning nature conservation and community welfare, with a focus on marginalized groups such as orphans, disabled people, school girls vulnerable to crimes including forced marriages, rape, early pregnancies, HIV/AIDS victims, and pandemic COVID-19 sensitization. We are a fundamentally non-profit organization.

We significantly focus on community sensitization around calamities such as feminine issues, severe drought, floods, epidemic outbreaks including HIV/AIDS, and more.
